Welcome To fighterguppy Site network's community center
 fighterguppy community center is a place where the arts community can come and share knowledge as well as learn. It doesn't matter what your skill level or lack there of is you are welcome & there is a forum waiting for you. This will also be a hub of activity in regards of breaking fighterguppy news.
Unlike the big machines out there your opinion does matter and can shape the future of this project. This project is free, don not feel as though you have to pay for this service or this just a beta and in 6 mos everyone will be asked to pay. None of this is true. This project will ALWAYS be free. There will be donation buttons present throughout the community center. If you can give please do, and if you can't it's all good it's not required. Take a look a the number of ways this project can benefit you. |

The new Joomla Community Portal is now online. The Joomla Community Portal is a new web site for the Joomla community. There you will find a constant source of information about the activities powering the Joomla Project, learn about Joomla Events worldwide, and see if there is a Joomla User Group nearby. A new, monthly Joomla Community Magazine promises an interesting overview of project activities, community accomplishments, and learning material. |

What is the FTP layer for? |

The FTP Layer allows file operations (such as installing Extensions or updating the main configuration file) without having to make all the folders and files writable. This has been an issue on Linux and other Unix based platforms in respect of file permissions. This makes the site admin's life a lot easier and increases security of the site. You can check the write status of relevent folders by going to ''Help->System Info" and then in the sub-menu to "Directory Permissions". With the FTP Layer enabled even if all directories are red, Joomla! will operate smoothly. NOTE: the FTP layer is not required on a Windows host/server. |

The Joomla Project has assembled a top-notch team of experts to form the new Joomla Security Strike Team. This new team will solely focus on investigating and resolving security issues. Instead of working in relative secrecy, the JSST will have a strong public-facing presence at the new Joomla Security Center. |

This is now implemented by inserting a Read more... tag (the button is located below the editor area) a dotted line appears in the edited text showing the split location for the Read more.... A new Plugin takes care of the rest. It is worth mentioning that this does not have a negative effect on migrated data from older sites. The new implementation is fully backward compatible. |
